Upgrade your EPIC E20 with a matched Fleet Lithium system

Replace a confirmed compatible 48V lead-acid bank with the Fleet 51.2V nominal LiFePO4 configuration that suits your driving routine. Confirm the vehicle labels, tray, controller, converter and charging interface before ordering.

EPIC E20 / E40 / E60 installation resources

Download the Fleet installation manual (PDF) · Read the lithium conversion guide

Separate E20, E40 and E60 layout photos, labeled EPIC components, charger-inhibit and converter instructions, plus a fillable installation record. Revision 1.1. For compatible 48V lead-acid conversions; factory-lithium and FX replacements need separate approval.

Choose your capacity

  • 65Ah: 3.33 kWh nominal; stock motor/controller and approved load.
  • 105Ah: 5.38 kWh nominal; regular use with opportunities to recharge.
  • 168Ah: 8.60 kWh nominal; more reserve in one pack.
  • 210Ah: 10.75 kWh nominal; two matched 105Ah packs in parallel with approved dual mounting and wiring.

Nominal energy is 51.2V × Ah ÷ 1,000. Range depends on passengers, terrain, speed, tires, temperature and accessories. A controller amp label alone does not establish the battery current required.

What is included

Your selected Fleet battery configuration, vehicle-specific E20 mounting kit, matched lithium charger, SOC display and supplied installation wiring/hardware.

Check the delivered packing list and fitting instructions. Retain the existing DC converter only after its full input range, output and load capacity are confirmed; a replacement is not included in every EPIC bundle. Paired kits require the approved parallel components and matching procedure.

Fitment and electrical checks

The current E20 application is 2022–2024 with six 8V sealed AGM batteries. Use the E20-specific mounting application, not an assumed E40 bracket.

Use the matched lithium charger and SOC display. Preserve the approved charge-inhibit and electromagnetic-brake functions. Have the exact controller limits and regenerative-braking configuration checked; there is no universal reprogramming rule by model year.

A newer EPIC is not automatically 72V. Do not put a 76.8V battery into a 48V system. Factory-lithium and FX replacements require a separate battery, harness and communication compatibility check.

Fleet battery ownership

Use the matching SOC display and supported Bluetooth monitoring for battery information. Review the specifications and heater behavior of your selected pack and the current Fleet warranty terms. If your original bank is sealed AGM, it already needs no watering.

Ask Fleet to confirm your EPIC kit with vehicle and controller labels, battery-bank photos and your intended use.
