Buyer questions

RV lithium FAQ

Is it a true drop-in replacement?
In most coaches, yes — same footprint class as group 24/27/31 lead-acid. The converter still needs a lithium profile.
How many batteries do I need?
Add your daily amp-hour draw and size the bank to cover it with reserve. Most weekend boondockers land between 100Ah and 300Ah.
Will my converter charge it?
Only with a LiFePO4 charge profile. Older lead-acid converters undercharge lithium and shorten runtime.
Can I charge while driving?
Yes with a DC-DC charger. Connecting straight to the alternator can overload it.
What about freezing temperatures?
The BMS blocks charging below safe temperature. Choose a heated model for cold-weather camping.
What warranty applies?
Promise series packs carry a 10-year warranty with US-based support.
