Controller Compatibility
The 2022–2025 Epic E-series 72V models use an AC motor controller that requires reprogramming for lithium compatibility. The factory controller must be updated with lithium-specific charge and discharge parameters before the Fleet Lithium 76.8V pack will operate correctly. Your Epic dealer can complete this reprogramming in minutes during installation.
Will this fit my Epic Cart?
Yes. The BR1605 bracket kit ensures a factory-fit installation for all 72V E-series models (E40, E40L, E60, E60L — 2022–2025). No physical modifications required.
Does my controller need reprogramming?
Yes. The factory 72V controller must be reprogrammed with lithium charge and discharge parameters. This is a quick process your dealer can complete during installation. This is different from the 2017–2021 48V models, which are generally compatible without reprogramming.
How long does installation take?
30–60 minutes with basic hand tools, plus controller programming.
Does it work in cold weather?
Yes. Built-in heater activates automatically below 32°F — standard on every pack.

This is a very high quality battery easy to install, so happy to be rid of the nasty corrosive lead cell batteries. Hopefully I’ll get many years of service out this battery and I’m sure I will, just the getting rid of the lead cell maintenance is a huge win. The cost of corroded cables, hold down brackets and adding water was a pain in the butt.

Absolutely Incredible Range. We replaced our 4 year old Trojan batteries this spring with the 210 AH dual battery kit and we are blown away! We use the buggy to secure the perimeter of a 300 acre lot in South Carolina. We typically put about 200 miles per week on this unit.
