Match Fleet Lithium to the way you use your ICON

Upgrade a confirmed compatible 48V lead-acid ICON i20, i40, i60 or i80 with a coordinated Fleet 51.2V nominal LiFePO4 system. Confirm your actual tray, controller, converter and charging interface before ordering.

ICON installation resources

Download the ICON installation manual (PDF) · Read the lithium conversion guide

Real ICON battery layouts, controller identification, mounting, charge-inhibit and SOC-display guidance, plus a fillable installation record. Revision 1.0; compatible 48V lead-acid applications.

Choose your capacity

  • 65Ah: 3.33 kWh nominal; stock motor/controller and approved load.
  • 105Ah: 5.38 kWh nominal; everyday use with opportunities to recharge.
  • 168Ah: 8.60 kWh nominal; more reserve in one pack.
  • 210Ah: 10.75 kWh nominal; two matched 105Ah packs in parallel with approved dual mounting and wiring.

Energy = 51.2V × Ah ÷ 1,000. Range depends on passengers, terrain, speed, tires, temperature and accessories. Confirm the selected battery’s current capability for your controller and load; capacity alone does not establish compatibility.

What is included

  • Selected 51V NexGen Fleet Lithium battery configuration
  • CH5618 — 58.4V DC / 18A lithium charger
  • BR5126 — ICON EV mounting kit
  • AC0219 — AC power connector
  • CB0917 — 35.4-inch cable set
  • Digital state-of-charge gauge and mounting hardware

Check the delivered packing list and fitting instructions. Have the matched ICON charge-inhibit interface before removing the original charger. Paired kits require the approved parallel components and pack-matching procedure.

ICON fitment and electrical checks

Model name and year alone do not prove fitment. ICON builds can use Toyota NEOS or ICON/LVTong controllers and different tray and charger interfaces. Confirm the actual controller limits and regenerative-braking configuration. There is no universal no-rewiring or no-programming rule across every ICON.

Retain the original 12V converter only when its full input range covers the Fleet system through 58.4V and its output, condition and load are suitable. Use the matched lithium charger and Fleet SOC display; preserve the charge-drive interlock and electromagnetic-brake functions.

Factory-lithium replacements require a separate harness and communication compatibility check. This 48V lead-acid guide does not establish compatibility for other ICON series or a higher-voltage conversion. Do not install a 76.8V pack into a 48V system.

Fleet ownership and support

Use the matching SOC display and supported Bluetooth monitoring for battery information. Review your chosen pack’s current specifications, heater behavior and Fleet warranty terms. Sealed AGM batteries already need no watering; lithium selection is about the capacity and characteristics that suit your use.

Ask Fleet to confirm your ICON kit with your model/serial plate, controller label, complete battery-bay photos and driving needs.
