The Workhorse 1000 carries more than the 800 on the same 36V six 6V lead pack, so it is the one that runs out of power first. A 38V Fleet Lithium pack delivers 300A continuous with an 800A surge, holds that output loaded, and takes roughly 260 lb of lead out of a vehicle whose whole job is carrying weight.
