Eight 6V batteries under a Shuttle 4 is roughly 420 lb, and every pound of it works against a vehicle designed to carry passengers. One 51V Fleet Lithium pack removes about 300 lb, restores the acceleration the cart had when it was new, and delivers the same power fully loaded as it does empty.
