E-Z-GO introduced a 72V AC Express powertrain in 2018 and a factory ELiTE lithium version after that. If your S6 is a 2018 model, open the seat and confirm you have eight 6V lead-acid batteries on a 48V system before ordering — a 72V or factory-lithium S6 is not covered by this kit.
Controller Compatibility
The 48V Express S6 uses an E-Z-GO / Curtis 400A PDS/SepEx DC controller. The Fleet Lithium 51V pack is a direct match — no reprogramming, no controller upgrade, and no wiring changes. Aftermarket controllers should be verified separately.
Will this fit my Express S6?
Yes, on any 48V eight-6V Express S6 from 2012 through 2018. The BR4480 bracket kit mounts to the factory tray, so no drilling or vehicle modification is expected.
Does it fit a 72V Express S6?
No. The 2018-and-later 72V AC powertrain and the factory ELiTE lithium models use a different architecture and are not covered by this kit.
How long does installation take?
30–60 minutes with basic hand tools.
Does it work in cold weather?
Yes. The built-in heater activates automatically below 32°F — standard on every pack.
