Upgrade Your E-Z-GO Express L4 to Fleet Lithium
The Express L4 is a work cart, and work carts are hard on lead. Six 8V batteries mean weekly watering, corroded terminals, and a pack that is noticeably tired by year three. A single 51V Fleet Lithium pack removes about 230 lb, ends the maintenance entirely, and is warrantied for ten years.

Which Do You Have?
This kit is for the early electric 48V L4 with six 8V batteries. Gas L4 models are not covered.
Will It Work With My Controller?
The L4 uses a Curtis 1206HB-family 48V SepEx controller. That controller runs the 51V lithium pack without modification — the cart drives normally, with more punch when loaded.
