Upgrade Your E-Z-GO 2Five to Fleet Lithium

Late-model 2Five LSVs left the factory with six 8V batteries — about 350 lb of lead sitting low in the chassis. Swapping to one 51V Fleet Lithium pack takes roughly 230 lb off the cart, which you feel immediately in acceleration, braking distance, and hill speed. Charge time drops too: a full recharge is hours, not overnight.

Choose Your Capacity

Capacity Range* Best For
51V 65Ah Up to 27 mi Stock carts only
51V 105Ah Up to 50 mi Daily driving
51V 168Ah Up to 75 mi All-day use
51V 210Ah Up to 90 mi Max range, fleet use

65Ah is for stock motors and controllers only. If your cart is lifted, loaded, or running an upgraded motor or controller, start at 105Ah.

Fitment Guide

Which Do You Have?

This kit is for the six 8V tray. Lift the seat and count your batteries — four larger 12V units means you have the early 2Five and need that kit instead.

Will It Work With My Controller?

The factory 235A 48V AC controller runs the 51V pack without reprogramming. Nothing about the drive system changes except how long it stays strong.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my 2Five?

Yes, for the six 8V late build. The pack sits in the factory compartment with the supplied bracket kit.

Does it fit the early four 12V 2Five?

No — that tray uses a different bracket. Order the early 2Five kit.

How much weight does it save?

Around 230 lb versus the factory lead pack.

How long does installation take?

30–60 minutes with basic hand tools.

Does it work in cold weather?

Yes. The built-in heater activates automatically below 32°F — standard on every pack.

*Range estimates are maximums under ideal conditions (flat terrain, single rider, 12–15 mph, 70°F). Actual range varies with terrain, weight, speed, and temperature.

About Fleet Lithium

Built for demanding applications. Ready for everyday use.

Fleet Lithium develops high-output LiFePO4 battery systems for golf carts, LSVs, UTVs, marine, RV, and off-grid applications. We combine serious power capability with application-specific fitment, complete conversion components, and direct technical support.

Why Fleet is in our name

Fleet Lithium was built around equipment that gets used hard and cannot afford unreliable power.

Fleet Lithium was built around equipment that gets used hard and cannot afford unreliable power. Government fleets, rental operators, farms, hunting properties, and utility vehicles were our proving ground—not the modified-cart trend.

Those demanding applications shaped our approach from the beginning: build batteries with the power, control, and durability required for heavy daily use. That same overbuilt approach now serves individual golf cart, LSV, UTV, boat, RV, and off-grid customers who simply want a system they can depend on.

More than a battery in a box

A successful lithium conversion takes more than matching voltage and amp-hours.

Battery output, controller demand, charger programming, mounting, cabling, vehicle electronics, and communication protocols all have to work together. Fleet Lithium develops complete systems around the application so customers and installers do not have to piece together a conversion and hope the components are compatible.

Depending on the application, a Fleet Lithium solution may include the battery, matched charger, mounting hardware, cables, gauge or display integration, programming, installation guidance, and direct technical support.

Power and control built into the system

Fleet Lithium’s current NexGen battery management platform is rated for 300 amps of continuous discharge and up to 800 amps of peak output. It is designed to support real controller demand without treating every short power surge as an overload.

Select Fleet Lithium systems also support features such as OEM CAN-bus integration, cold-weather charging automation, Bluetooth monitoring, and GPS or geofencing for fleet security and operational control. These capabilities are application-dependent—not included with every battery.

  • 300A continuous / 800A peak surge discharge
  • OEM CAN-bus integration on select systems
  • Cold-weather charging, Bluetooth, GPS/geofencing where applicable

The application matters as much as the voltage

Two vehicles can use the same nominal voltage and still require completely different batteries, mounting solutions, chargers, cables, programming, or controller considerations.

Fleet Lithium researches vehicle generations, battery compartments, electrical architecture, controller demand, and charging requirements to develop application-specific configurations. Where fitment or installation requirements are verified, we document them clearly. Where additional validation is still required, we do not present an assumption as a confirmed fit.

Built for the way you actually use it

Whether you manage a working fleet, operate equipment on a farm, hunt remote property, commute in an LSV, cruise in a golf cart, spend the day on the water, or need dependable off-grid power, Fleet Lithium is built around the application—not just the battery specification.
