Fleet Lithium Charge Port Receptacle — Club Car Precedent / Onward / Tempo

A direct, factory-style replacement charge receptacle that lets you charge your cart from the outside, right where the original charge port lives. The round housing drops into the factory Club Car opening and the short 120V pigtail plugs straight into your onboard lithium charger inside the battery compartment. No drilling a new hole, no hanging a charger off the side of the cart, no opening the seat every time you plug in.

Why owners install it

  • Charge from the factory port location — plug a standard 120V extension cord straight into the cart
  • Keeps your onboard charger hidden and protected inside the battery bay
  • Replaces a cracked, burnt, corroded or missing OEM receptacle
  • Restores a clean factory look after a lithium conversion
  • Molded housing with integrated mounting tabs — bolts to the factory bracket points

Not sure if your cart uses this port? Pop the seat, look at the round receptacle on the body, and compare it to the photos — or send us a picture and we'll confirm it for you.

Installation

Unplug the cart and disconnect the pack before starting. Remove the two mounting fasteners on the old receptacle, unplug the old pigtail from the charger, seat the new receptacle in the factory opening, refasten, then plug the pigtail into your onboard charger. Typical install time is about 10–15 minutes with basic hand tools.

Frequently asked questions

Will this fit my Club Car Onward or Tempo?
Yes. The Precedent, Onward and Tempo all use the same round factory charge port opening, so this receptacle drops right in.

Do I need a special charger to use it?
No. It is designed for an onboard charger mounted inside the battery compartment. The pigtail feeds 120V AC to your charger, and the charger handles the pack.

Can I plug a regular extension cord into it?
Yes. The outside face accepts a standard household 3-prong 120V extension cord. Use a heavy-duty cord rated for the charger's draw.

Is this a replacement for a broken factory port?
Yes. It is the common fix for a cracked, melted, corroded or missing receptacle, and it is also what most lithium conversions use to keep charging at the factory location.

Does it work with lead-acid carts too?
Yes, as long as the charger is mounted onboard and runs on 120V AC.

How fast does it ship?
In stock and ships from the USA. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
