Does this include a charger?
Yes — the bundle includes a CH5618 58.4V 18A LiFePO4 Smart Charger, cable set, AC power connector, and SOC gauge. Everything you need for a complete installation.
Will this work without reprogramming my controller?
In most cases, yes. Factory 48V controllers are generally compatible with 51.2V lithium. If your vehicle uses a Curtis or GE controller with custom programming, verify settings against the 51.2V nominal voltage.
How long will this battery last?
LiFePO4 cells are rated for 3,000–5,000 cycles. At typical golf cart usage, that translates to 10+ years of service life — backed by our 10-year warranty.
Does it work in cold weather?
Yes. The built-in heater activates automatically when charging below 32°F, protecting the cells. This is standard — not a paid upgrade like many competitors charge $200–$400 for.

This is a very high quality battery easy to install, so happy to be rid of the nasty corrosive lead cell batteries. Hopefully I’ll get many years of service out this battery and I’m sure I will, just the getting rid of the lead cell maintenance is a huge win. The cost of corroded cables, hold down brackets and adding water was a pain in the butt.
