Controller Compatibility
The 2017–2021 Epic E-series 48V models use an AC motor controller. The Fleet Lithium 51V pack is electrically compatible with the factory 48V AC system. However, controller parameters may need to be verified or adjusted by your dealer to ensure optimal charging and discharge behavior with lithium chemistry. Contact Fleet Lithium or your Epic dealer before installation if you are unsure about your specific controller version.
Will this fit my Epic Cart?
Yes. The BR4763 bracket kit provides a factory-fit installation for all 48V E40, E40L, E60, and E60L models (2017–2021). No physical modifications required.
Does my controller need reprogramming?
The 48V AC controller on 2017–2021 models is generally compatible with 51V lithium. Some controller versions may benefit from parameter verification — contact us or your dealer to confirm. This is different from the 2022+ 72V models, which require full reprogramming.
How long does installation take?
30–60 minutes with basic hand tools.
Does it work in cold weather?
Yes. Built-in heater activates automatically below 32°F — standard on every pack.

This is a very high quality battery easy to install, so happy to be rid of the nasty corrosive lead cell batteries. Hopefully I’ll get many years of service out this battery and I’m sure I will, just the getting rid of the lead cell maintenance is a huge win. The cost of corroded cables, hold down brackets and adding water was a pain in the butt.

Absolutely Incredible Range. We replaced our 4 year old Trojan batteries this spring with the 210 AH dual battery kit and we are blown away! We use the buggy to secure the perimeter of a 300 acre lot in South Carolina. We typically put about 200 miles per week on this unit.
