Controller Compatibility

The Textron/Tracker Prowler EV uses a 72V AC motor controller. The 76.8V Fleet Lithium pack is designed to work with the factory 72V AC system. No controller reprogramming is typically required for standard installations.

Will this fit my Prowler EV?

Yes. The included bracket kit ensures a factory-fit installation. No modifications required.

Do I need to reprogram my controller?

No. The factory 72V AC controller is compatible with the 76.8V lithium pack out of the box.

My Tracker off-road came with the factory installed warn winch. Does this kit come with the 72v to 12v converter and is it able to withstand the amp draw of the winch?

The kit does not include a 72V-to-12V converter. A factory Warn winch needs much more current than a normal accessory reducer can provide, but we can set you up with the correct high-current converter or a small 12V auxiliary battery.

My Tracker EV is newer than 2021, would this still work or were they different after 2021? I have one bad lead acid battery already so am looking at either the 150 AH or 175. Is there much to make it fit? Thanks.

Our 76.8 105 ah Battery is a drop in replacement, while the 168 AH battery will include mounting brackets designed to easily fit your tray and only minor drilling for mounting the brackets is required. Awesome kit for cold weather climate

Awesome kit. We Live in a very cold climate, our ranger gets a ton of use year round and especially during the winter so the cold weather performance was a must for us. We've had the kit installed for about a year now and it's been perfect. Customer service has been super helpful the one or two times we had questions and we've got a couple of neighbors who run the kits as well and they say the same thing. More than a battery in a box

A successful lithium conversion takes more than matching voltage and amp-hours.

Battery output, controller demand, charger programming, mounting, cabling, vehicle electronics, and communication protocols all have to work together. Fleet Lithium develops complete systems around the application so customers and installers do not have to piece together a conversion and hope the components are compatible.

Depending on the application, a Fleet Lithium solution may include the battery, matched charger, mounting hardware, cables, gauge or display integration, programming, installation guidance, and direct technical support.

Power and control built into the system

Fleet Lithium’s current NexGen battery management platform is rated for 300 amps of continuous discharge and up to 800 amps of peak output. It is designed to support real controller demand without treating every short power surge as an overload.

Select Fleet Lithium systems also support features such as OEM CAN-bus integration, cold-weather charging automation, Bluetooth monitoring, and GPS or geofencing for fleet security and operational control. These capabilities are application-dependent—not included with every battery.
