Controller Compatibility
The Advent HD uses a 72V AC motor controller. The 76.8V Fleet Lithium pack is a direct replacement for the factory lead-acid bank. No controller reprogramming required for standard installations.

Is the Advent HD different from the regular Advent?
Yes. The Advent HD runs a 72V system (vs. 48V on standard models) and uses a different battery tray. This kit uses the BR6201 bracket designed specifically for the HD chassis. Do not use a 48V kit on a 72V Advent HD.
Do I need to reprogram my controller?
No. The factory 72V AC controller is compatible with the 76.8V lithium pack out of the box.
How long does installation take?
30–60 minutes with basic hand tools.
Does it work in cold weather?
Yes. The integrated heater activates automatically below 32°F when plugged in for charging — standard on every pack.

This is a very high quality battery easy to install, so happy to be rid of the nasty corrosive lead cell batteries. Hopefully I’ll get many years of service out this battery and I’m sure I will, just the getting rid of the lead cell maintenance is a huge win. The cost of corroded cables, hold down brackets and adding water was a pain in the butt.

Absolutely Incredible Range. We replaced our 4 year old Trojan batteries this spring with the 210 AH dual battery kit and we are blown away! We use the buggy to secure the perimeter of a 300 acre lot in South Carolina. We typically put about 200 miles per week on this unit.
