Why do I need a DC converter?
Most golf cart and LSV accessories (lights, horns, radios, USB chargers) run on 12V. When you upgrade from lead-acid to a 48V or 72V lithium pack, you need a converter to safely step the voltage down for these accessories.
Will this work with both 48V and 72V systems?
Yes. The CV7526 accepts any input voltage between 40V and 72V, making it compatible with all Fleet Lithium 48V (51.2V actual) and 72V (76.8V actual) battery packs.
