Will this work after a lithium battery upgrade?
Yes. The display reads voltage and SOC directly from the Curtis controller's CAN bus, so it works correctly with both lead-acid and lithium battery systems as long as the controller is properly configured.
Can I use the ICON or Advanced EV version on my Kodiak?
No. Each brand requires specific programming to ensure accurate speed, SOC, and voltage readings. This unit is pre-programmed specifically for Kodiak EV.

This is a very high quality battery easy to install, so happy to be rid of the nasty corrosive lead cell batteries. Hopefully I’ll get many years of service out this battery and I’m sure I will, just the getting rid of the lead cell maintenance is a huge win. The cost of corroded cables, hold down brackets and adding water was a pain in the butt.
