How is this different from the standalone 51V charger? The CH5618 is an on-board charger (18A) included with conversion kits. The standalone replacement charger outputs 12A.
Can I use this as a replacement? Yes. If your kit originally included a CH5618, this is the correct replacement part.

This is a very high quality battery easy to install, so happy to be rid of the nasty corrosive lead cell batteries. Hopefully I’ll get many years of service out this battery and I’m sure I will, just the getting rid of the lead cell maintenance is a huge win.
